Anniversary Card

Good morning everyone,
Thought I would share one of my first cards I made with you today..I've been so busy blog hopping and visiting I haven't had time to make a card.  I have also been trying to sort my computer files out..not a whizz at this Debs normally does it for me, but I have to start trying myself lol!!
Have been going through all my photos, and found a few I would like to share..they are not too bad and I was really proud of them when I made them.  I hadn't discovered colouring images and bought lots of decoupage and stickers, which I still have a mountain off lol!!
The one I am sharing today was lovely in real life, the ribbon was a beautiful red velvet, and the flower spray I got from Hobby Craft. I embossed white card with my Cuttlebug, and used a sticker for the Ruby 40 Sentiment.   The paper was Create and Craft Japanese speciality papers, I still have these.  I made this a couple of years ago for some really close friends, My hubby and I have known them since our teens! I didn't have a blog when I made this, also my photography skills wasn't the best either..BUT..we all have to start somewhere lol!!

There are lots of things I would love to do to it now lol!!  Thought I might try my luck with a couple of challenges :)

Hope you enjoy my flash from the past lol!! Really must get some housework done now as I'm back to work today :(  Thank you for stopping by..take care...

LIEBSTER BLOG AWARD

Good Morning everyone,
Just wanted to tell you about some lovely news....I have been nominated by the lovely Kat for the Liebster Blog award. I feel quiet honoured that she thought of me, I also now have to nominate 5 bloggers.....I must just say that Kat would of been on my list as she is so talented and so giving of her knowledge to help others, and inspires me every time I visit her lovely blog which you can find here Thank you Kat :)

The idea of the Liebster Blog Award is to spread the love from one small blog (under 200 followers) to other small blogs. This helps to spread knowledge and readership.

To accept the award, you must:

1) Link back to the person who gave it and thank them for thinking of you.

2) Post the award to your blog.

3) Give the award to 5 bloggers (with less than 200 followers) that you appreciate and value.

4) Leave a comment on the blogs of the five people you have chosen to let them know.

"Liebster" in German means "dearest", so to carry on the Liebster tradition, I am going to pass the award on to 5 people who's blogs have been an inspiration to me and my crafting.

Like Kat, I have met so many lovely people, who have helped me and supported me, and always have a kind word when you need it most, it is hard to choose just five but here are my chosen five...

Sarah Jayne from The Crystal Elephant
I would also like to mention my daughter Debs from Pixie's Place, whom I would have nominated as well as she is my shining star, as she encourages me with everything, and I love her very much....but I know she is so busy at work and has to put all her concentration and efforts into that at the moment and doesn't have the time to blog very often..love ye hun!
Hope to be back  later with a new card..
Biggest of hugs,
Marjorie

Loving Ewe

Good afternoon everyone, the snow has almost gone...thankfully!  It is still cold though!  I had a lovely surprise on Saturday, Mr Postman delivered me a lovely stamp from Whimsey Stamps, which I won a couple of weeks ago, all I knew was it was a stamp for Valentine's day.  Thank you Denise it's lovely. I'm not really into making Valentine Cards so I have made a card with her for my granddaughter Candice, hope she likes it..her favourite is pig's really but never mind I'm sure she will like Miss Ewe (that sounds like another sentiment for another card lol!!...da...da.. here she is in all her glory....

Sketch Saturday

I have followed the above sketch, what do you think?  It's not my normal type of image, I did colour her with bits of grey, but it looked awful, so tried pink.. and I have glammed her up with Glamour dust..it looks lovely round her heart but you can't see it very well on the photo.  The stamp is from Whimsey Stamps called Loving Ewe, Papers are Papermania - all loved up.  The lovely heart doily is from Tracy at Dies to Die for she sent me a sample with my order, such a lovely lady, and the heart dies are a cuttle bug die, the keys were on the same plate...aren't they lovely.  Roses from Wild Orchid Crafts, all the rest is from my stash.

Would like to enter the following Challenges:

Hope you all have a great week, it's school holidays here, so I am sure I will be busy baking with Candice and shopping..two of her favourite things lol!!  Will be round to visit later... mwah!! Take care..

Kissy

Good morning everyone,
The weather is not too bad here in Yorkshire today, still have snow, but it isn't as cold.  Hope the snow that is lying doesn't freeze though!  My friend Jane has asked me to make a card for a very special friend, whom she loves dearly, who is turning 70 soon, she wanted lots of flowers on it..this is the first card I have made to order lol!!  Hope she likes it!!
I've chosen Kissy from Mo Manning..isn't she just adorable. Whilst blog hopping last week, I saw this on lovely Steph's blog, and new I just had to have this little beauty..that's the only trouble going walk about..Miss Pursey gets empty lol!! Anyway on to my card..I have used the sketch from Papertake Weekly Challenge, really enjoyed using this, and one I think I will use a lot.

I coloured her with Prisma pencils, and really like how the skin turned out, have been experimenting with different colours, was going to write them down..put them on one side..then had a tidy up and forgot to write the colours down durr!! back to the drawing board lol! I think she has tights on so coloured her little legs pink.  I love her hair, all those gorgeous curls!  I made the little flower in the corner from a Magnolia Doohickeys die called Vintage Daisies and my Sentiment is a die from Memory Box called Bistro Label both dies are from Dies to Die For. The sentiment is computer generated..I used Glamour dust on the image this time and stardust stickles on the flowers which are from Wild Orchid Crafts, also my little pink heart pins. The papers are from Papermania.
