Kenny K - Tommy Leen

Good morning everyone, I can't believe it's almost four months since I last posted!!  My Mum has had her operation and is doing very well:)  Lots of ups and downs over the last few months but we are getting there:)

I have stepped down at Make it Monday, as I didn't know how long it would be before I was back up and running properly. Also Mum's eyes are getting worse, she has AMD and needs a little more help with certain things, so I don't have the same time as I had before.  The girls on the team were fabulous and I'll miss all the banter on the team blog, as they all had a fabulous sense of humour!!

I haven't had much time for crafting, but have managed to make one card which is for my brother's birthday, I've also been wondering around blog land and it's making me want to get stuck in now lol!!

This is the inside, I just love those little tags from LOTV

Isn't this image by Kenny K smashing!.. my brother is worried about the amount of candles that his cake has to have now lol!! so I have made this card so he can reminisce about his youth, as he used to play the drums when he was younger! I bet he wishes he had all that hair now lol!!
The papers went with my theme fabulously going back in time! they are a lovely pad called 'Wellington' I have used this pad several times and need to get another one now!  The little tag sentiments are from LOTV I just love them, and the little notes was a cheap punch I bought from a craft show long ago... I think they are quiet nice.  My image was coloured in with Prisma Pencils and I used copics for the skin, still trying to learn how to use them lol!!  My music sheet is also a LOTV stamp, have been dying to use it for ages!

I've found a few challenges I would like to enter

Kenny K's Challenge - Worlds best Dad/Man
Bearly Mine - Anything Goes
Make It Monday - Anything Goes Linky Party

It's really nice to be blogging again, and I hope to be able to get into my craft room a little more now... so until next time guys... happy crafting:)
Love and Hugs,
Marjorie xx

Chico's Chopper

Good morning everyone... some really exciting news today.... We are being sponsored by 'Kenny K' this week over at 'Make it Monday'..... just think you could win 5 fabulous Digi's.... yes 5!!! how great is that! Kenny is a fabulous designer and has created the most amazing digis, do pop over and take a look at http://www.kennykdownloads.com/
My card today is called 'Chico's Chopper' and I made it some time ago for my brothers birthday.. he loves bikes and just loved this card... in fact I think he even kept this one lol!!

I used Copics to colour his skin and Prima Pencils for the rest.  I was in such awe of this image when I downloaded it lol!!  I thought.. I will never be able to colour this in but I really enjoyed doing it and it all came together so well as Kenny gives so much detail and shows you where to highlight etc.  What I did do was print it on to a A4 sized piece of paper and enlarged the image so I could see all the details properly as I struggle a little with my eyes and can't always see what goes where lol!! So when I was colouring the smaller image I knew what was what lol!!  He is one magnificent mean machine isn't he lol!!! .. I do mean the image lol!!

All you have to do to win 5 of these FABULOUS images is leave a comment on another entrants card and mention you saw them on 'Make it Monday'
Some come along and share your beautiful Paper Craft projects with us and remember it's
'Anything Goes'  every week ....... have fun!!

Awesome projects again this week, but this beautiful card by Tracy  stood out for me.  Tracy is always so giving of her fabulous talent and skills, and you can see a great tutorial of how she made the paper for this beautiful card so do pop along and leave her some great MIM love....

This is going to be my last posting for a couple of months...  I'm taking a short break to spend some time with my Mum.. as you know she is waiting to go in to hospital for a triple bypass operation.   Michelle and the girls at 'Make it Monday' are very kindly covering for me while I'm away.  (Thank you girls you are all just the BEST!!)   I'm hoping to manage the odd posting once in a while, and maybe some commenting. I'm really going to miss everyone as you are all fabulous and I consider myself lucky to have met so many fabulous friends.  I will be around this week to comment on all of your lovely cards though ......
You all take care...

Our visit to Germany was just fabulous, Liam is such a little character and he is just unbelievable with his languages!!  He really does put us to shame as his English is so good, I can't say very much at all in German!  I am hoping they will all be here for his birthday at the end of March, he's told his mum and dad that's what he wants for his birthday to come to gran and granddads.... bless him!  Candice had a lovely time too! we went to the Christmas markets, the weather was so mild, it was a pleasure to walk around.  Nicole introduced me to hot chocolate and baileys...mmmmm... I don't normally drink, but had about 3 or maybe 4 of these lovelies over the course of the evening!  Needles to say I was a little merry lol!

I am sorry that I haven't been around too much over the last month or so,  I'm a little out of sorts at the moment, as my Mum is going to have to have a triple bypass operation as her little heart isn't in very good shape. We still have some more tests to do, but they are thinking around the end of January, early February.
Mum really wants to have this done, as she says she doesn't want to sit around waiting for a heart attack to happen.... so my Mum being my Mum is going ahead with it..

This is me and my Mumsy, she looks so well and I just want her to stay like this forever!!

Sorry about the long post today girls, it's all or nothing with me hey!!... Have a fabulous week..
Take care,
Love and Hugs,
